And I can’t stand women who keep secrets because they think they know what’s best for everyone else. Also the guilt over how all these people couldn’t save an addict. No one can save an addict. They have to save themselves. “Yet another woman he couldn’t save. “ Cooper is a really great character but this constant guilt trip was so boring. So this book rubbed me the wrong way from the start. Nobody talks to anybody. Even in the end they haven’t totally cleared the air, even though it all wraps up in a neat little HEA with a bow on top. I appreciate the Christian overtones, but it’s really not for me. I’m looking for a new author, but i think I’ll keep looking.
