I read this book because my 10 year old has to read it for class. I do this for all her books because I want to quiz her to make sure she is comprehending them. This book was a great read for an avid reader like myself and my 10 year old loves it too!

I bought this for my 9 year old grandson, but I read some of it before I gave it to him to be sure it was appropriate for his age. And it is a neat little book for a 4th grader. He read it this summer and really liked this book. I would recommend this book for any 9 year old who likes to read. I think that is really well written. In fact, I really like Andrew Clements' books in general. I have bought several for my grandson and he has enjoyed them all.

My daughter--a very reluctant reader--loved this book. It sparked her imagination, and we even tried a silent day at home. Clements really knows how to write for kids in the older grade school years. It hit the mark perfectly.
