To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Really good student resource but Glossary could use some work. My daughter finds herself thumbing through pages to find the right information since back of the book isn't detailed enough regarding page locations. Once the right page is found the resource is great.
My son got this for Christmas and loves it. He carries it around with him so he can look through it and study all of the countries around the world. The photos and illustrations are vibrant that catches one's eyes. The pages are good quality. I highly recommend it.
This book is everything great that everyone expects from a National Geographic publication. Children must do school reports, and although the Internet is an invaluable, incomparable resource, there is something to be said for real books in a real bookcase. Highly recommend this book.
I know you could technically find all the info in this book on the internet somewhere... but the book contains a lot of good information for students; and many good refreshers for adults and educators alike.
My son has always been very interested in geography and he was very impressed with this atlas and all of the different aspects that are covered concerning land, earth, demographics, industry, etc. It is very well done!
