If you don’t know how to embroider this book won’t help you!

This is not a step by step guide! It’s more like a stitch dictionary but with poor instructions. Each stitch shows only one picture of the finished stitch and very brief instructions on how to do it. I wondered if this was a poorly translated book originally written in a different language. I think it’s just completely unedited and written by someone not good at explaining things they already know how to do.
All the stitches are done on needlepoint canvas. In fact, there is a whole section on needlepoint stitches, which isn’t what I wanted. Sure I could use them in embroidery or the one every decade needlepoint project I do.
I’m keeping the book because I’ve been doing needlework for about 40 years. Back then instruction books were written like this. These days you can find much more user friendly embroidery books. There are so many of them. (It’s really not worth the price of shipping it back.)
