JT Geissinger is one stellar and gifted writer!!!! Her use of the written word is in a class of its own. Each sentence, and I do mean sentence, in this book, is masterfully crafted with an abundance of rich vocabulary enhanced by the use of similes and metaphors. She allows readers to see, in their minds eye, the action, sadness, conflict, passionate love-making, selflessness and cruelty, depicted in this book. As a result we are transported into the story along with the characters.
This is the story of Eliana and Demetrius and the tumultuous relationship they share, cemented by love but tested by mistrust. The storyline is action packed and complex, interspersed with power struggles, sadism, cruelty, love, compassion, and deception. The author takes readers on a roller coaster ride of emotions throughout the book.
At the conclusion of this story, I guarantee that you will witness a jaw dropping turn of events and the revelation of a “gift” by one of the characters we did not see coming. Brilliant!!!!!
Can’t wait to delve into Christian’s story in the next installment. I hesitated to begin this series because the paranormal genre was never my thing, but boy was I wrong. I shouldn’t be that surprised since I’ve read most of her books and am a true fan of JT Geissinger!!!!
