The Cellar, just the cover, I knew this book had something, especially the title. I read this and was drawn into the story, hating the fact that I had to bookmark here and there, but I was so glad I was able to read it today and finished the last chapters. The whole book reminded me of the real serial killers, many of them that had done these particular crimes and murders that I had studied and written up in my own serial killer books plus, the character reminded me of Norman Bates from Psycho. Maybe the author was inspired? Yet I will say one thing...IT WAS IMMACULATE! The plot held a lot, suspense, thrills, and even terror. Just imagine yourself in that sort of situation and not knowing what to do, living in fear and unable to escape because you know what will be the outcome, but you still hold hope and victory deep down inside, yet again...its the outcome that keeps playing in your mind and you are defeated. It's a scary situation and even though many hadn't been in this sort of ordeal, reading this book made me think of the victims, real-life victims that HAD went through this. Most deceased (R.I.P.) and most survivors. This book is incredible and deserves more the 5 stars -adds my own- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ That's how many stars this book deserves :) I highly recommend The Cellar, you won't regret it! Hopefully, in time, I'll get the next book, AWAKE.
