Clear, Concise, and Powerful - Read This Book

Neville Goddard’s powerful little book “Feeling is the Secret” conveys a strong message in a few words. The author points out that his straightforward approach provides the essence of the concept without explanation and argument. He is, in other words, not here to convince. He merely provides the technique and describes how to use it. He succinctly gives the why and the how.
In the tradition of Napoleon Hill, Goddard asserts the power of positive thinking. Thoughts result in effects – we shape our reality by thinking and feeling appropriately to accomplish whatever objectives we seek. The first of 4 chapters describes the “law” – the relationship between the subconscious and the conscious. The conscious impresses and the subconscious expresses.
The second and third chapters detail how to impress upon the subconscious through sleep and prayer. Using feelings to produce the effect, Goddard believes it is possible to accomplish any goal. On the other hand, negative thoughts result in negative effects. The final chapter is a short summary.
Goddard uses biblical quotes and examples. This small book is considered part of Goddard’s “Neville Explains the Bible Series.” But it can easily be read from a more secular point of view as the book makes very few references to bible or religion. The techniques described can be applied by anyone.
