Very disappointed. The age this is recommended for is not accurate either

I was very disappointed with this book. I have the other 2 books in the series and use them ALL the time as a social worker, so I was excited to pre-order this one, but some of the thoughts themselves go a little too far. Maybe it depends on your population, but some of the thoughts seemed outdated with examples like "This isn't a race for special kids" and "He shouldn't be in this class." At my school, everyone comes and goes with different supports, and the kids don't really start noticing until maybe 4th-5th grade. So, to depict that type of thought at such a young age (3-7yrs per this listing), is unnecessary to me and could be placing those thoughts in their heads. The settings on each page are geared more towards upper levels as well (making the basketball team, what appears to be a middle school bathroom, a track meet. I plan to use this book with 4th or 5th grade if at all, but I definitely will be skipping over some things.
