Thrilling restaurant fiction with mob action
Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2017
They say that every great author has written a deeply personal, slightly fictionalized story. Not all of them are released, clearly. But everyone does it. A rare opportunity to explore the restaurant world from the inside, without all the baggage of having to be nonfiction. Bourdain is funny, and you can certainly imagine him having these experiences while a chef in New York. Enjoyable, goes down easily.
