My son's bedtime story for the past 3 years has been "Go the F***k to Sleep", and it has been wonderful.
However, as he get's older and tries to refine his toddler palate he becomes increasingly picky at meal time. Often, he chooses to play instead of eat. That's not going to fly in my home. To teach several life lessons (including the importance of a well-balanced meal) we've added this book into our rotation. He's responded well, but your mileage may vary because, well, kids are a$$h*les.
Mama may be a nurse, maid, teacher, and builder of wooden trains, but I am not a short order cook. I use profane literature to communicate such to my children. 10/10 would buy again.
