To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
If quick identification of Texas flora and fauna (including species) is your goal, these are great. The only way to be much more detailed would be to turn the pamphlet into a book, which defeats the handiness of the laminated cards.
We recently bought a ranch with an abundance of beasts. I would guess each of the 3 folding, laminated cards probably has roughly a couple hundred reference species (I haven't counted, but there's a bunch), and it has helped us identify probably a few dozen plant/tree species, a few snakes (so we can tell the venomous from the non-venomous), and several bird species. The pictures are clear and representative of the species. They aren't exhaustive, but probably encompass 90% of the typical animals you'll see around.
