Beautiful but not functional or practical

I really like that each recipe has a picture, fun things like jokes or tips for recipe variations & you/your child can write in when you made it & how many stars you'd give it. But I don't like the vegetable heavy recipes. I'm sure there are alot of kids who would enjoy zucchini boats, broccoli nuggets & squash soup but my kids don't so I feel like I have a book filled with recipes my kids won't make. I also reallllly hate that the ingredient list & the directions are on different pages. There'd probably be more room for everything to be on one page if there weren't definitions on each page. Keep the definitions in a glossary. The pictures are nice & when you flip through it's a beautiful book but for actual use you'll be flipping back & forth alot and me personally there's only a handful of recipes my kids will actually eat so I think this is going to be sitting on the shelf alot.
