Human Interest Story. Not what I was looking for.
Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2020
Eh. Heavy focus on her story. It feels more cathartic than helpful. I appreciate the attempt, but what the cover doesn't tell you is that she relates all realizations to being a Jewish woman who discovered her heritage late. Totally legit to write about, but I wasn't expecting a human interest story hidden in "advice". I was expecting more broadly applicable principles she learnt in her life.
Some people might still learn something, but reading her words I don't feel invited, I feel pushed and urged to seek what she found, for myself.
