I say again, I'm so glad to learn there will be one more book in this series.

When I wrote my review of book six in this series I said, "I'm so glad to learn there will be one more book in this series." and now, I say it again. I was disappointed when I thought this fantastic series was going to end. I felt like great friends and neighbors were moving away.
I personally don't care for what I consider HS Book Report style reviews. If the prospecting reader is looking for a summary of a story, they should look at the authors summary. they always do a better job than any reviewer could. I will tell you that the starting point of this segment is the formation of a sort of UN for the Universe where various Inter-galactic Species, Star-systems, etc. can organize to resolve differences, establish trade, and learn of different cultures and technologies. Sounds ideal, what can go wrong? There wouldn't be a story if there weren't any problems to solve and, before the celebration of this accomplishment and implementation even begins, a rogue species leader is heading towards Haven pursued by a powerful enemy that has not yet joined this new alliance. And, this is in just the first few pages. Once again, dean Parker and his eclectic group of friends embark on another series of convolutes missions to rescue some missing friends.
I'm confident that anyone starting with this seventh book in this series will have to go back and start from the beginning. Nathan Hystad delivers his books with less than the ordinary wait between segments but, you'll really enjoy reading these books one after the other.
