I’m a long time fan of Jenna Jacob so when I saw she had a new series out, I of course one clicked it. As usual, Jenna’s writing style had me emerged in the story very quickly and had me wanting to know more about each and every character. Her ability to make you feel everything the characters are feeling is what made devouring this book in a day in inevitable.
I enjoyed stepping into the Lick of Leather world and watching the relationship between Burk, the bands playboy lead singer, and Sofia, the all work and no play band manager tasked with keeping the guys in line for the remainder of the tour.
Burk and Sofia’s story was originally a short called Seducing Sophia, in the Alphas of Seduction anthology. If you, like me, hadn’t read that anthology, it made coming into the Rock Me Longer story a little rough. It felt as if I was starting the book with a few chapters missing. Don’t get me wrong, once I was past the first couple chapters, I felt like I knew everything about the characters, so I didn’t feel as lost. That small issue was the only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star review. If you like a happily ever after rock star story, you can’t go wrong with Rock Me Longer. I’ve already pre-ordered the next installment in the series, Rock Me Harder.
