Easy and gives great ideas!

I am a first time mom and love to cook. My baby girl is 7 months old and I have been using these recipes for 3 months. I get really excited to look for what is coming next in her culinary exploration. Not only are there great recipes, but it includes other helpful tips; what super foods they should be trying and what spices/herbs you can and can not add. Highly recommend if you are a first time mom and looking for a jumping off point.

Great cookbook

I hate buying baby food at the store! Who knows what's really in it and it looks and smells disgusting, not to mention all of the numerous recalls. I found this cookbook to be easy to use and follow with lots of great recipe ideas and everything grouped by age appropriateness. Also liked all the tips about the different ingredients. We enjoyed so many of the recipes that I bought my sister-in-law the same book for my nephew. We make our own baby food, now on to toddler food........ freeze it, and take it out as needed. Always know what I'm feeding my son and it has to be better than whatever is in those jars!

I had no idea what I was doing when it came to making baby food, but I wanted to give it a try. This book is really dummy-proof and gives lots of good info. For example, it categorizes the food by age. Tells you specifically how to steam, cook, etc the simple vegetables (I was not much of a cook, so I found this super helpful) and it tells you how long you can leave it in the refrigerator and freezer. Would highly recommend!

The recipes are easy to prepare and taste delicious. And there's enough to freeze. I like the fact that there are recipes that can be frozen for 1 to 3 months.
