This was such a roller coaster ride of emotion! This was a real page turner after we learned who the strange man was asking for Quentin. What an amazing romance that finally blossomed between Zoe and Ashton.
I really love this series of novels set in Indigo Bay. The series is written by a handful of extremely talented storytellers. What love the most is the way each flows to the next but can be read in any order. The continuity between the stories and authors is just wonderful. Now on to book number eleven 🤗
Jean Oram has written another fabulous romance in the Indigo Bay Series. Zoe and Ashton are perfect for each other but sometimes fate has a way of derailing even the best of romances. Ashton's reasons for leaving Zoe are complex and heartbreaking, especially since he never stopped loving her. Zoe never stopped loving Ashton and she has conflicting emotions when he returns to Indigo Bay. Zoe and Ashton's path to HEA is not easy but love worth having is worth fighting for.
Jean has once again written well-developed, complex characters that I truly care about in a story that I couldn't put down. There are appearances from old friends that I'm always happy to see again. I would love to visit Blueberry Springs and Indigo Bay. Maybe even live there. I am definitely looking forward to more books in this series. Jean Oram is a one-click, must-read author if you enjoy sweet romances with heart.
Ashton and Zoe were falling In love and suddenly he just left town. Zoe didn't understand because he left without any explanation. Seems a former girlfriend tells him he is the father of her child and she has so many things going on that Ashton decides he should stay with her. Later he returns home where he has a lot of intrigue going on and danger is following him. This story will keep you wondering what comes next. I really enjoyed this great read and recommend it if you enjoy intrigue that keeps your attention to the end.
Let me tell you, you weave together a captivating storyline with characters that grab your heart. The twist and turns that you surprised with the storytelling is immensely intriguing. Thankfully true love was possible with all the stop and starts the characters transverse. Enjoyed your storytelling.
Another great book by Jean Oram. Ashton and Zoe fall in love quickly, but haven't quite built that foundation of trust. They struggle and eventually work together to build that foundation to have their happily ever after.
I just finished Sweet Forgiveness. LOVED it. It's a suspense story with a sweet romance mixed in. The two stories blend so well and I was on the edge of my seat to see what happens. I love this story between Zoe and Ashton, a few times I just wanted to knock their heads together, I felt so involved in the story. When the sinister man kept coming to the hotel and looking for Quentin I had shivers up my spine knowing no good would come of that! This story grabs you and holds on and you will find yourself cheering on Zoe and Ashton and hoping they will make it work. It just goes to show that you should be honest with the people in your life, they can usually help or at least support you. So get a nice glass of something cold and sit back and enjoy.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I also named the cat Mishka in the book.
Zoe has not had good luck when it comes to men. Her fiancé left her just before her wedding so she is not too trustful. She is dating Ashton now who is a teacher and is in love with him. She hopes they are not moving too fast, but he is hinting of getting a home for the two of them. Then one night he comes over and says he has to go away for a couple of days and he will call her. His ex-girlfriend tells him that the child she is pregnant with is his. The baby will have to have some operations after she is born, and Ashton tells her that he will put the baby on his insurance. She then says that she is sick and the medicine she needs will hurt the baby so she has decided to forego the medicine to save the baby. He didn’t have a father growing up and he tries to do the right thing so he tells his ex they can get married. He really doesn’t want to let Zoe go, but he feels it’s the right thing. Zoe is devastated as Ashton gives her no explanation. Then a year later he walks into the hotel where she works and wants to make amends.
Ashton is such a good guy who really tries to do the right thing. Unfortunately sometimes being a good guy, you get taken advantage of. There are secrets kept from Ashton and Ashton keeping secrets from Zoe. There are a couple of rotten men that are dangerous and make trouble for Zoe and Ashton. I felt bad for Ashton, but wish he had handled some things he did a little differently. Zoe is always trying to help people and give them the benefit of the doubt. It was a good book that I encourage you to read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.
