Sealed With a Tryst is the seventh book in the Ordinary Magic series by Devon Monk.
This is definitely an interesting read in the grand scheme of Ordinary weirdness. However, it doesn't really live up to the rest of the series. In most ways it more resembles a novella in its air, and with consideration to this very whimsical plotline. While I'm sure Pandora's cursed storage unit is indeed a pressing concern, within these circumstances, with the main focus on Delaney attending to her desperate need for a vacation with her recent fiance. I am positive it's small potatoes.
I did however truly enjoy Death, pig dragon, and Spud's antics at the end of the book. I would go so far as to say that I could have done with more Than in this short book. And am rather surprised to find so little of Talli taking up page time...
This seems like the authors intention to add some levity to the very strained Reed sisters, before the coming harrowing war. It was definitely appreciated. Although, I wish the author would have went further with the whimsy.
I do think the Bigfoot meeting was a simple and enjoyable addition to add further levity.
