To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Not in our curriculum, but got great reviews so i took a chance. I thought I would have to read it to my fourth grader at night time but he reads it himself and enjoys it. he picks up this book often on his own and tells me about what he has read.
The presentation of history in this book is bizarre and I don't know why it is so widely used in homeschool curriculums. Is there nothing better? I have to spend hours reading up on the information that this book doesn't provide in order to present a simple lesson. I used this as part of the History Odyssey Early Modern History Level 1 curriculum. I don't recommend either the book or the curriculum.
