Great story but needs some editing in the middle

I've read this series from the beginning and have loved the story but somewhere at the end of Book 7 and the middle of Book 8 it's like the file got corrupted and it made me want to stop reading. Usually I take the time to highlight the errors but there were more than I wanted to invest time to report.

Still a good series and worth reading.

Things become more wrapped up in this addition to the galaxy's edge saga. Yet there are still new mysteries to unwrap before the conclusion on season one.

Great story but horrible typos

I've enjoyed all of the Galaxy's Edge books but this one one is so full of typos - especially in Part 2 - that I found it distracting. It was as if parts of the book had been dictated to a computer but never proofread by a human being before publication. Despite that - which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 - I am looking forward to book 9.

Well written and researched. Hard not to feel like you are with the team as you move from mission to impossible mission. Great mix of reality and fiction. Would like to write more but I would rather start reading the next book.

I'll keep this simple. This series has never failed to impress me and creates lovable characters in dire circumstances. It paints a grimmer darker picture of war on galactic scale. If you aren't cheering for the good guys. You'll love the bad ones!

Amusing as always and filled with intrigue and action. However, wow, how about an editor or three? These books are still nicely done, readable and enjoyable, but this one, especially Part Two, feels like I am reading a separate copy of an original translated from Latin to English.

Love this series and this book is no exception. I docked it one star though because it looks like it hadn't even had a cursory proof read. I'm not a stickler for about this stuff, but the amount of spelling mistakes and jumbled sentence's was excessive.
