I was very surprised and happy after I began this series you've
written Carmen. I really like how it all began. The Creatus
as they're called are true alien's from another planet. Taller, buffed body and eat Raw meat.
When people saw how strong they were, they were afraid. They were mistaken as vampire's because they lived longer and we're very hard to kill. The Creatus are like supernatural. They mate for life. If their mate dies, they do too unless needed to care for the children. If this seems like a book you like, I highly recommend it. I am going to read the next book now.
The author, Carmen De Sousa is
a fantastic writer. I am so looking forward to reading all she writes.

Not much actually happened. A bit of mystery and lots of back and forth who will she choose? Just kidding she chooses no one. Oh wait. Maybe.
It was annoying not riveting. Bummer. No interest in the rest.

This is my second read through of this book before I head on to the next one in the series. The original book was great. However I felt as if this book had a long narrative, bouncing from here to there before finally settling on a good pace about three quarters of the way through. Alas, I do have to find out what happens to Vic and Reece and see what comes from all of this.

I am always hesitant when book series change over to focus on other characters because I always miss the first set. I DID miss the Kris & Derrick, but it was great to get to know Vic. She isn't really explained much in the first book but this book gives great insight into why she is the way she is. I wish that Kris & Derrick had been more than background in this book but the development of all the other characters makes up for it. Dying for the 3rd book!!

Well, I am hooked. This second book continues the very good writing and momentum of the prequel and the first book. As one story line is finished, another starts. There is just enough well written mystery to keep the reader enough off balance. So now to the next one.
