How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

2.0 out of 5 starsThe point seems lost
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 28, 2022
There were a few good snippets in this book about mindset, but it mostly feels written to pay homage to Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, which is fine, but repeating over and over how committed they were doesn't inspire the way I think it was intended to. The rest of the book is just SO many sentences that compare "extremes" for half a page: "X is an excuse. Y is a reason. X will stall you. Y will motivate you. X is easy. Y is hard." Got old real quick and didn't really explain beyond that. I pushed through to finish it but it was honestly painful and the gist is: winning is hard, winning is cruel to you, you have to sacrifice to win, then after you're back on the bottom. I found it a little contradicting as well.

Gives you a reality check on all the cliches that you hear in today's society that tells you, you are a winner without putting forward the action. It helps you to prioritize your priority in order to win and put up those barrels for those that gives you permission to stand still.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Message from Greatness
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 26, 2021

In 1973, the legendary race horse, Secretariat, won the Belmont stakes by a unbelievable 31 lengths and a time unbeaten to this day. This made him the winner of the triple crown, winner of the three successive high stake horse races. It is said that spectators ripped out the patches of grass that he trodded on last. They believed that possessing this grass that had physical contact with Secretariat would give them access to the spirit of greatness that animated him. There is some wisdom in their seemingly fanatic actions.

Reading this book is similar. But instead of a handful of withered, dead grass that can only remind you of a moment of greatness, this book provides an opportunity to make direct and ongoing contact with the living source of the animating spirit itself. This comes through the message that pours forth from the author. Tim is beyond an expert. He is a sage, particularly of the warrior domain, a domain that generates the unique POWER to win. The POWER of this domain, unbeknownst to many, extends beyond the battlefields to elite athletics and entrepreneurship. As a sage of this particular domain that's out of reach to most, Tim serves as the reader's conduit for access to it and its POWER. He does this by personifying the spirit of the consummate warrior--the same transcendent spirit of elite athleticism that inspired Secretariat, Jordan, Kobe, and the other great, elite champions--as winning. If you understand this principle, then you can grasp the immense value this book can provide to you in winning the race you are called to run.

Thanks, Tim, for your lifetime of service that now grants readers with privileged access to this sacred domain and its winning POWER

4.0 out of 5 stars Legendary trainer - lots of terrific info here

Grover is really impressive, the trainer behind a whole host of NBA legends. Enjoyed the particular focus on sports psychology here. Do wish there was a little more specificity in a few places - he can periodically resort to generalizations rather than really digging into a prescriptive, steps-based method. But overall, a very good book.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BOOK OF THE CENTURY!!!

Ladies and gentlemen,
I present to you THE BOOK of the year and arguably of the century!

If you've ever wondered how CHAMPIONS think and perform, if you've ever wondered why it's important that you keep your mind stronger than your feelings at all times, if you've ever wondered how to think for yourself, how to manage your focus, how to develop greater resilience so you become the BEST at whatever it is that do, THIS is the book for you!

There's a lot could tell you but you should study it yourself and draw your own conclusions. I will say this: Winning is RUTHLESS and if you can't think for yourself and master the lessons here, you can never understand winning.

Through the darkness and into the light...BLAZE Into Success!
