Zombie & Clyde (as in Bonnie & Clyde, but no one is named Bonnie or Clyde)

Yet another one of the first horror movies I watched as a kid that scared the crap out of me. It's not as scary now as it was back then, but I still think it's ok. Now I'm not much of a fan of the Return of the Living Dead series, but I do like the first two movies, with the awesome 80's soundtrack and catchy theme music of the first one and the more played for laughs second one. This one is ok as a sequel and on its own. The zombie makeup and effects are great, and the camerawork and angles help make some of the scenes more tense and scary. However, one problem I had with this movie was that it didn't have any of the tongue-in-cheek humor that the first two had, but that's just a nitpick. But what's not a nitpick is how most of the people in this movie keep making some of the dumbest decisions ever. The accident that causes the girlfriend Julie's death, which was done so hilariously, was because she kept fondling her boyfriend Curt while they were both riding on a motorcycle, that was stupid on her part. Also what kind of scientific government facility allows the teenage son of one of the research heads full access to said facility without any authorization or supervision, especially when they are experimenting with contagious flesheating zombies. That zombie riot at the end is all on you dumb@$$es! Also it's not a Return of the Living Dead movie without someone opening up one of those canisters of reanimation chemicals and unleashing the horribly decomposing zombie inside...I'm not complaining, I'm just stating a fact. Overall this was on OK zombie romance movie, it's not as good as the first Return of the Living Dead, but still watchable.
