Organic, safe, effective and multi use

#1 this is a truthful product! If you read the front it says “organic nipple butter”. If you read the back it describes how it’s buttery, rich, moisturizing, SAFE for baby’s mouth, and non GMO. It’s TRUE! I apply and put my milk pad over it so it does not wipe off and my bra as well. You need to let it absorb and have time to help heal. The smell is like cocoa butter, very subtle and delicious. The taste is mild and unnoticed by my son. I know that it’s safe so I have no issues feeding him right after.
Multi use.... my husband has used on my dry feet, hands, lips.... it’s really wonderful. Cocoa butter tends to take time to dissolve so you may notice little ball like pieces... just work around in your hand and it will go away.
Longevity.... I’ve been using for 10 months and like I said I’ve used it all over. Also.... as far as lasting, this does last on your skin for awhile. It moisturizes and lasts for hours.

I ordered Organic Nipple Butter and received the Natural Nipple Butter while similar it’s not what I ordered!

I ordered the Earth Mama Organic Nipple butter and received 2 of the older Verision Natural Nipple Butter. I have severe Eczema on my nipples and am trying so hard to get through the last month of breastfeeding my baby girl until she’s 1. I ordered the organic as that’s what I’ve been using, it’s approved by my dermatologist and I know I won’t have a reaction. While I know it is mostly the same I’m very disappointed that I ordered one thing and received something else. After all the pain and issues I’ve been through I’m afraid to even use this because I don’t want any of the ingredients to make my reaction worse.

Seriously, read the ingredients and then look at your chapstick! I couldn't believe they were charging so much for this item when its literally the same as chapstick! It made me laugh and I returned it right away. I should have done my research before i bought the item but I didn't know any better. But hey, I'm honestly thinking about just having a tube of chapstick for my nips and calling it a day. I bet other moms out there have done the same thing! Don't buy this rip off! (unless your floating in money... but even then... buy something else!)

I tried, but just can't love it

For the size/price, I really wanted to like it. I have been buying b...bease and knew I wanted lanolin free but a little more affordable. This is nicely moisturizing and works well for pumping. However, I just can't get past the smell; it's oddly coconut/medicinal, and not at all in a good way. It's also much harder to wash off than the b..bease and my little one seems to agree and will only latch if I completely wash it off. It may be more expensive, but back to the original product!

No safety seal?

Mhmmm... is this how it’s suppose to arrive? Without a safety seal on it? I would think for a product that I am applying to my breast area there would be a safety seal on it.. also looks like someone poked a hole into it and there was a black speck on it. Needless to say I will be returning this product. Highly disappointed because I thought that an organic brand would be better at safety measures..

I loved this product with my first two babies, but when this arrived today the product box was not sealed, which would have been fine, but the product itself was not sealed either - which is not okay for a personal care product. I have no idea if it had been tampered with or not at some point. When I tried to initiate a refund via Amazon, I just got an auto-message that the product was not eligible for return. I completely understand that since it’s a personal care product, but a refund should be available for an unsealed item. I also had ordered two other Earth Mama products in the same order, and the box/bottle were both sealed in plastic wrap.

Maybe I got a bad batch?

I know this is a well loved product but, for the life of me, I cannot figure out why. My pot doesn’t have the chunks like the other reviewers, it is smooth which leads me to believe I don’t have a bad batch. But it did have a hole in the middle of the product, oddly. What is really unbelievable is that it isn’t a returnable product.

First of all, it’s thick enough that it gets under your nails when you scoop it out. Annoying, but not a dealbreaker.

Second, the smell is not great. It’s just not.

Third, it doesn’t moisturize for very long.

Lastly, and most importantly, it doesn’t come sealed and I’m fairly sure sticking my finger in it multiple times gave me thrush. Even if it was just a coincidence, it’s still unsanitary to not be sealed on delivery. It made me itch from day 1 and I definitely don’t have any allergies.

I really wish this product worked for me, but, alas, back to lanolin I go.

My baby hates it

My baby can tell when I've used this (even if I wiped it off with tissues) and will refuse to latch. What really stinks is I bought the two pack 🤣. I will also say I used lanolin after he refused and my nipples felt so much better in comparison.

As a ftm, a lot of my purchases have been trial and error for the most part. I mainly ordered this nipple butter because it was just a larger amount however, it was not worth it. It’s super easy to spread but it’s so THIN that it literally does nothing to soothe the nipples after breastfeeding or pumping. It also made my nipples stick to the breast pads I had and when I took them off it felt like ripping off a bandaid. The Lansinoh Lanolin Cream is thicker and better in my opinion.

Baby won’t eat with this on

As natural is always our preferred option, if the baby won’t take it, you can’t really stick with it.

We had to go back to lanolin. This stuff makes the baby gag and he won’t eat with it on.

It might work for others, but our baby hates the stuff

Love the fact that all the ingredients were organic, and baby friendly, so I don’t have to wipe it off before feeding.

This smells & looks like cocoa butter. Didn’t really work for me because I did notice cracking around my areola, so I ended up buying lanolin instead.

I will probably end up keeping it in my handbag as a hand moisturizer/lip balm though.

Baby would not nurse with this. When I wiped it off, he nursed like he was starving. Baby won’t latch well or at all if they don’t like the cream (and that hurts!!) Something to keep in mind if your baby won’t nurse when using this.
