I really enjoy the bickering and the love the three main characters have for each other...just like any friends that have become family. The author gives you great descriptive insight into places that make you want to visit or stay away from if you ever get to visit NYC. I am happily moving on to book 10 of the series. Thank you Linda for giving me something fun to read when I wake up at 3am!!!
Love all the Alexandra Cooper books...this one did not disappoint! On my way to completing the series. I am hesitant to start the next book because, once I start I can't put it down. The relationships continue to develop and never get stale.
Enjoy the history of New York weaved into the murder plot. This book was Fairstein's best - I'm reading them in the order written so I can see improvement with each book. Finally glad to see that Alex doesn't get kidnapped or trapped by the perpetrator. She has a few close calls but so much more believable than some of the previous novels. Will definitely order the next book.
I bagan with Linda Fairstein's first novel with her special cast of characters and have read all of them in order to get the full storyline. She is almost as awesome as Lee Child abde Vince Flynn but in a different setting. She is on the same level as David Baldacci's King & Maxwell series which is mt way of giving her excellent reviews.
Love the characters and their interaction. Have read several of Linda Fairstein's books and plan to read all of them. The historical info re NYC woven into the plots is fascinating. Highly recommend this and all of the Alex Cooper series.
