Amazon, as we know, is the most available provider to our 'On-Demand' lifestyles.
I have accidentally purchased years ago a movie (The Martian) a second time in a different format and was unable to refund my purchase. Now i have two (2) of the same movie. Amazon doesn't make it easy.
I have Lord of The Rings purchased through Amazon Prime Video, and i see no option to spend a fraction of the price I paid to upgrade to the Extended Version. Wow, sucks to lose money on something so trivial. Why not pay a little extra for an upgraded movie? Idiots.
I saw, a blast from my past, 3rd Rock from the Sun. I started watching- despite Amazon Prime membership, and still got ads. I decided, to hell with it, $17 for 1 throwback nostalgia and sentiment, just to void ads. Excited as I was, I noticed the frame changed, like a pristine i-Phone 10 ratio, to a Polaroid from the 90's; not the SAME from what I was watching with ads. However, the $17 got me lower quality, lower resolution, lower pixels, but, oh thank God, no ads.
I write this for any idiot like I am, thinking money buys quality, and lack there of deserves a refund - good luck. Might as well use that money next time you need to sneeze, wipe yourself or pick up after your dog.
Amazon makes sure it is difficult to get a refund on a crap quality digital sale. Once they have your money, it's theirs, and Bezos is just laughing at how you give it up.
That got heated toward the end. Someone tell me how to refund a duplicate of The Martian, to upgrade (willing to spend the cost) to the Extended LotR, and to refund crap quality of Season1 of 3rd Rock from the Sun to go back to the better quality with ads. FML.
