Smaller and shorter than expected, but good quality writing

First of all, this book is rather small. It is suppost to be a short story off of Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materials" trilogy, but the book is only 50 pages. Very small, 7 by 5 inches. When it arrived it was in relatively good condition, though the corners were slightly banged up. From what I've read the book seems quite well written, in the same style as Pullman's other books. In the description, it states that the book comes with a map of Lyra's Oxford, hence the title. I expected that it was just folded in the book, and you can take it out. Instead, part of the map is glued on to the back of a page with writing on it, so it wouldn't be a good idea to rip the page out. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and I do recommend it, short as it is.
