Great compliment to a toy kitchen
Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2020
I've had Melissa and Doug wooden toys for as long as 13 years, and recently bought this with confidence for my youngest granddaughter. They are realistic and sturdy. I dislike many plastic fake food toys, and cardboard box style play food lasts about a week! I do wish they had "labels" on all sides, instead of just the front. I would say that negative reviews regarding durability seem to relate to young toddlers who throw toys. They really are intended for older kids who use them for their intended purpose. (mature 2 yo and up?) These are not intended to be thrown around; I'm sure they'd survive it, but the paint may not. The only wooden food to fail so far in my family was consumed by a very large puppy.
