IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT

WOW!! This has changed. I buy these Dinty Moore Beef Stews by the case (s) at a time. I've been eating these for many, many years. I have these on my Subscribe and Save here on Amazon. They use to taste great and were easy on the stomach. I literally have 15 cases on my shelf. No, I don't think the world is coming to an end. When they go on sale I stock up. They have over a year on the expiration date. And I eat several of these per week. But, I recently purchase some more with an expiration date well into 2020. I tried the new ones. I'm shocked at the change. I've tried two of them to make sure it wasn't just one that went bad. The taste is different. It smells different. I use to love the smell when my microwave was cooking this beef stew. Now, it's doesn't smell like my stew cooking. The meat looks and taste different too. IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT! This is the second food item, in the last 3 months, which I've been purchasing for years, but won’t be anymore. The other item was a roast beef with gravy in a can (different manufacture). What's with you companies that change our food items without any warning? At the very least you should say on the label "new and improved". We, the customer, will make that determination. I won't be purchasing anymore of these Dinty Moore Beef Stew 9 oz microwavable bowls. Those cases that I still have on the shelf, I'll just have to keep cooking them until I come up with your "New and Improved" ones. May take me months to find out. After I find that expiration date, I'll throw the rest out. I have several expiration dates on my shelf so I don’t know when you made the change. Hopefully, the old taste is what’s mostly on my shelf.
