Buy 2 kits, not 1.

So I'm mixed about the "singles". Most master cylinders have 2 ports the same size.

At the same time, the picture shows the count per size as "1".

So I bought 2 kits. And now I'm set. Right bucks times 2 is worth getting the bench bleeding right the first time.

I don't understand why the makers give you black tubing. It should be clear.

I solved that by getting some local hardware store tubing for $3. .170 inside diameter fits well as my picture shows.

So if you get 2 kits you'll avoid the aggregation.

The pieces do what they are supposed to.

You'd be better off just using two brake hoses from your car. At least then you will actually have the needed adapters to connect both hoses, and you can't get any less see through then threes hoses. If you think I'm kidding or exagerating... I'm not. That's what I actually ended up doing after purchasing these.

Comes with 2 hoses, so you'd think that it covers both holes for the master cylinder... Nope, you only get one of each adapter, so you're SOL. Also, the black hoses aren't exactly the mossy helpful when looking for bubbles. You basically have no idea if it is actually working or not. Its pretty much a game of hope and pray. Do not buy this kit. Buy any other kit. I don't care of you're trying to save money... this does not Dave you money. It costs you money, and you get headaches in return. Then you still have to go spend money on something that works.

I should have done more research. This kit has multiple issues. It only comes with 1 size of each adapter. They are all different diameters with different thread sizes. There isn't a master cylinder made with less than 2 ports so you have to purchase 2 of these kits to use it to bench bleed a master cylinder. Also the hoses (which I knew going in) are opaque and black so you can't see air bubbles which is exactly what you need to see when bleeding the MC. All in all there isn't any reason to purchase this kit so I would not make the mistake I made. Also, the fittings have square areas that are used to tighten the fitting into the port which is very odd. Not sure why they aren't shaped like nuts.

I imagine this would be a good kit for working on brakes with SAE fittings. Unfortunately, only 1 of each metric size is included. Another oddity is that while the SAE fittings all are stamped with their size, the metric ones are not.
All that it pretty minor, though, compared to the one massive deficiency with this kit. How, pray tell, can one look for air bubbles in the tubing if it's BLACK? My error for not noticing this (and just going by "Amazon recommended). But seriously?

This kit only comes with 10 adapters. 5 metric, 5 standard. All different sizes. Usually you need 2 of the same size. I had the master cylinder out and no second adapter!!!!!!!!! I had to use teflon tape (a lot) to make up the size difference. Didn't leak, however the correct size did leak and had to use teflon tape on that one also. Black tubing???? How can you see when the bubbles stop???? Really bad design. Then I see they make another kit for a few bucks more. Dorman #14151.

So I usually never leave product reviews but this one has be dumbfounded. In no ways am I a professional mechanic but have done most major automotive system overhauls. Not sure if I’m missing something so please enlighten me, but why would they design this with black tubes when your supposed to be able to see the brake fluid bubbles in the tubes when bench bleeding the master cylinder? And why include almost a dozen caps and make them all different sizes instead of a least 2 of the same size when the master has 2 ports? Unless the point was to buy this kit in conjunction with Dorman 14151 Master Cylinder Bleeder Kit that actually gives you what you need?

Completely Worthless for Multiple Fitting Master Cylinders

This kit is completely worthless for bleeding multi-line Master Cylinders. Why? It comes with 12 fittings and only two are the same for Chryslers... lol, the other 10 are all different from one another. My job requires 3 fittings of identical size, and the kit comes with only ONE in that size. DORMAN does this with most things they sell, lots of stuff but not in pairs. That's crazy! This means I would need to purchase 3 KITS in order to do my car. So back it went. Does not work! BEWARE!

Waste of money. The fittings are plastic and can strip easily. If you tighten it to much, they will snap off. Not enough, it will leak air. The hoses are black. How are you supposed to see air bubbles?? The clip that is supposed to hold the hoses in the master cylinder and keep them submerged will fling off and throw brake fluid everywhere. I ended up buying clear tubing, some fittings, and a binder clip to get the job done.

What kind of an idiot decided they were going to put an 'assortment' of sizes...but only one of each??? (except for one 'lucky' size for which they actually give you two)

Each brake cylinder has a minimum of two ports, so instead of increasing the cost by $1 and giving you two of each size so that you could use the kit, I had to buy a second one to do the job.

Now I have 4 hoses, 4 clips, 4 of the 'lucky size' that don't fit my cylinder, 8 other pair that don't fit mine...and yes...two of the ones I need. Great! Now when I do this job again in 10 years I'll be all set.

They could have easily charged $1 more, made this a useful kit, and saved me $10.

I purchased a Dorman Brake Master Cylinder and in the instructions, it states, "If the outlet ports have non-threaded protective caps installed (which it did), replace with provided threaded solid bleeder plugs". There were no threaded bleeder plugs, and when I reached out to them they said the instructions are generic and they don't come with the bleeder plugs (Obviously!), but you can buy the bleeder kit (which I did). Then! I find out that you actually need two kits (wish I would have read the reviews), what a crock of $#!&. I would have just bought a Master Cylinder that came with the bleeder plugs had I known all of this. Dorman = Crooked Company.
