Danielle Steel definitely knows how to get you hooked onto a book. This novel was amazing. Her descriptions of different countries in the early '30s are spot on. You visualize everything and you're taken to another time. I have to say that she does not disappoint one bit. 'Wanderlust' is about a young woman named Audrey Driscoll. Her parents pass away and she's left caring for her younger sister and grandfather. She takes after her father when it comes to traveling the world. She loves photography she wants to go to different countries to take photos and see the sights. I'm not going to go into detail, but to say that you will feel a lot of different emotions. I certainly did. I definitely recommend this one.
Wanderlust is an exciting book set in an around the world review basically of the years before the 2nd WW and the war. It has its tragedys and joys as a young American woman seeks out the meaning of life and her true place in it.
This is one of my favorite Danielle Steel books. There were so many twists and turns that I was constantly worried that something terrible was going to happen and was almost relieved when I came to the last page and Audrey and Charlie were together again.
