Good Intentions Poor Execution

Love, love, love the idea and intention of this book. The writing style was too wooden and too many lists. Also, it seemed a little defensive and self serving. Like they were tired of accusations that psychological approaches were not Biblical.
It does a great job of reminding us, from a theological perspective, what it takes to deal with sin and life struggles so that growth is the result. But, it's very repetitive and not terribly inspiring.
It has helped remind me that seeking growth is God's plan for humans. I embrace the hunger He's put in my heart for growth so I can be at peace with other people.
