After losing my son of 37 yrs, to a car accident several months ago, this book gave me hope and a willingness to accept my fate.
When people would look at me funny when I would tell them I had signs Chad was still with me, I thought I must be losing my mind until I read this book.
A parent never gets over this type of tragedy, but it's more bearable when you understand they have just moved on but not forgotten. They are still there for you and you still need to be here for them. Send them your love and prayers.
It was two weeks before my first sign because I was in such horrendous grief that I just wanted to go and be with him to make sure he was OK. I really believe he got through to me to save my life. And to this day, even though some days are so hard to get through, he still lets me know he's around. I had a dream--he didn't speak, but he looked as if peace surrounded him and a beautiful smile. I asked him in the dream if he was coming back, and the dream ended.
Keep your heart open---they want to reach you and let you know they are in a better place of peace and learning. Become aware because even the smallest of co-incidences can be a sign. I saw 3 double rainbows in three consecutive days, which is not common at all in the desert region, which Chad loved seeing when he was of this earth. They are rare but do happen. My garden bloomed profusely this summer and fall, better than they ever did and longer than the season usually allows (Chad knew I loved my gardens).
We will see tour loved ones again, and the bonds of love never die.
Chad has only been on his new journey for several months now, but I feel blessed to have so many signs.
