Outstanding read flawed by numerous typos

All other reviews are true for hard copies but this one is for the kindle e book which like a couple others I have read have been newly re-typed but not adequately proofread by professionals. The book is old and great but others of the same vintage in this ebook series have typos that range from the annoying and weird like having the number 1 used for the lower case letter l, to the vexing Mayfair Hotel being spelled may fair, or May fair, whatever. It passed the computer spellchecker, must be good.
The deal breaker is that author Parker, who is fond of putting unattributed quotes into his books, would roll over in his grave to read Spenser say "My strength is as the strength often, because my heart is pure."
Sometimes I can recognize the unattributed quote and sometimes it just goes over my head--that's part of the fun. But when an ebook fails so very often and so badly it brings a five star review down to two. I know I've got typos of my own. My bad.
Dell Press, please put a space in-between the f and the t in the word "often" in the strength quote above. If you do, the quote makes sense. You owe it to Parker, your readers, yourself, and Alfred, Lord Tennyson.
