Top critical review
Nice start but repetitious and overdone

Entertaining, at first, but the author tried too hard to make his profession sound shocking and filled with unique and many degenerate characters. This was repeated chapter after chapter when, in fact, it became apparent very early that the restaurant business has major similarities to any competitive business where money is the bottom line and reputation is what sells. This book could be written about most work environments (construction, design, politics, medicine, landscaping, art, and many more) by simply replacing a few words. That said, it was still funny.
