Carnivore here, who wanted to try a meatless product just to see how far scientists have come with these substitutes. I read the various reviews and thought I'd struck gold. Well, I can't say that I was pleased. I made a nice stir fry with this stuff, mushrooms, onions, broccoli and oyster sauce. It really kinda sorta looks like meat but the texture is no bueno. It's too soft and mushy - my brain was not fooled that this was my usual form of protein. I got 1/3 through my meal before I had to dump it - my stomach was rebelling from me trying to trick it.
