Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Silly junie B! Always getting into mischief, ( what else is new? Haha ), this little situation reminded me of what happened to me when I was young. I had gone to the barber shop, the place was absolutely magical! Sinks in rows and fun chairs you could spin in! Until, I spun in the chair while the lady was cutting it! Let's just say it did not end well. I learnt my lesson all right, just like junie B
My daughter and I love the Junie B. books, and this one is another classic. Junie B. imagines that, with a little practice, she too can become a hairdresser, with all of the usual goofiness. I have to give the book four stars because of the (intentional) incorrect grammar. I realize that Park writes like this because the kiddo grammar is hilarious -- for adults with a solid foundation in English. As a speech pathologist, however, I know that there are many children who will not understand the irony in the inaccuracies and who need to hear consistently correct English. I have to admit that I correct the grammar when I read the books to my daughter, but I also realize that many children are sophisticated enough to understand the irony.
