I spent the extra couple dollars to get this board because it has the stick. I had no issues with any of the items being rough. Last weekend I made garganelli, it was simple but I did have a few issues with it sticking to the roller. NBD just get more flour. Today I made Gnocchi and used my board. When my husband came in the kitchen I said "I'm mad" he said why doesn't that thing work where I replied with "I am mad I have made gnocchi all this time without a board!" Honest you can do it with a fork but I could never get them this pretty. It is so quick and simple. I can't wait for dinner. My cleaning tip is to get a new and unused tooth brush. Gnocchi can be sticky so flour the board.
