Gentle. Cleans without drying. Hasn't triggered any reaction on my baby's sensitive eczema prone skin. Love the light and delicate scent. It doesn't stay long after the bath except in her hair. And it leaves a very faint but wonderful smell. I have to hold her close and breath deeply to smell it but I can't stop sniffing her!

I've used J&J Head-to-Toe, Mustella, Honest, Cetaphil. I will buy this one again for the price, how much product you get, and how well it works.

Only wish is it came with a pump dispenser. I bought two bottles of the 18 oz Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion Aveeno Baby Daily Moisture Lotion, For Delicate Skin, Fragrance Free, 18 Oz. because that comes with a pump. And I took one of the pumps and put in on the baby wash.

My 4 year old uses this product all the time so when we recently ran out and decided to order it here on amazon we thought how awsome. Sadly i really doubt the legitimacy of this product. As soon as we used it, it dried my sons scalp and left nasty flakes and began to irritate my sons skin. Thought it was off we use this same exact product for years but as soon as we purchased here on amazon we got a negative outcome. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN OR RECCOMEND. Buyer beware

I would not use this on a baby or an adult. I guess it’s my fault for not reading the label but this product has sodium benzoate as an ingredient. Sodium benzoate is an artificial preservative and is necessary because the product contains elements that will spoil. However a lot of people including me get severe reactions to sodium benzoate which include peeling skin, a persistent rash, and swelling on my eyes. If you use this product and find that you have a rash, you may have a sensitivity to sodium benzoate. It’s in many food products and it is in some mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner. I would stay away from this. I am dumping mine and ordering some Burts Bees.

Everyone in my baby group recommended this baby soap but it is anything but gentle! It is very thick and dries out my skin when I use it on my children every night. My hand is seriously so dry it's blistering!! And I don't have sensitive skin. I thought this would be a sensitive soap but it isn't!

Old versus New

I have been using this body wash for a long time, I loved it and never had a problem with them before the new packaged came out. This newer version is not as good as the one before, this new one is too watery, seems like they diluted it with more water content. Both are clean, but this one is so diluted that foams will be made without wetting the hand and towel. The volume is the same, but I guess it's the concentration of the wash is different. The scent is a bit more diluted too, not as good as the previous one after shower. This newer one also gave me red bumps on my skin, and they're itchy, which I never experienced with the older version.

This is considered a good product not only for babies but adults too, my whole family uses it before this newer one came out. I wish they can go back to the older one, it's not just the package but the formula seems to be different too (even though the ingredients listed on the bottles are the same). The newer bottle is softer/thinner than the older one (probably they're being eco-friendly). Also, when I restocked it, I was intended to order the squeeze cap (like the one on the left in the picture) and not the push, but they gave me the push anyways. I still like Aveeno though, I should probably try the other washes from Aveeno.

I bought this for myself (not a baby...obviously) bcs my skin gets so dry in winter and it is very sensitive. I always use some sort of Aveeno combo to counteract winter and sensitivity in general, so I thought I'd try this. It's perfect. Love it! Smell is great too....not too strong.

We have been using this soap since our daughter was born and I just love it. The formula is gentle on her skin and leaves a very light scent that fades pretty quickly. It cleans off paint, dirt, food, markers, and whatever else a toddler gets on her in a normal day.

My only complaint is that these large bottles don’t come with a pump. They’re inconvenient to turn upside down and get especially so near the end. We bought a separate soap pump and that has made our lives so much easier.

For the soap itself, highly recommend.

Stings my baby's eyes

Boo, this product! While the smell is superior to the two other baby shampoos I've used, this product stings my 16 month old's eyes EVERY BATH. As soon as I'm rinsing his hair, the second any tiny amount reaches his eye, he starts crying and the bath suddenly sucks. The other two brands of baby shampoo I've used caused none of this. My baby doesn't have sensitive skin or sensitive eyes or anything like that. We've used it about 8 baths now, same result every time, I'm so far too cheap to just throw it out, but I think I'll start using it as my own body wash and go back to other brands for baby. How can Aveeno think this is cool??

I was using a different body wash on my 17 month old because that’s what I always used with my other kids. For some reason my baby always had eczema and we always thought it was from food. The Eczema wasn’t terrible, but it was there. It only occured to me recently that it could be from the body wash we were using. I asked around and someone suggested Aveeno, so I asked my Dr. and he said they always recommend Aveeno over other products, so I decided to try it and see if the Eczema will clear up. Sure enough, after a week of using Aveeno, all her eczema was gone. I felt like such an idiot that I didnt realize it could be the soap I was using because the other brand is a known baby brand and assumed it cant be that. I’m just glad I finally figured it out and did right by her. Aveeno is now my go to body wash and moisturizer! Will onlg be getting from Amazon as the price is best here :) Thank you
