Requires Precision Tools, 45 Minuties of Patience, and You Still Probably Will Not Like the Result

This was a very disappointing purchase. I had bought this for my daughter with the intention of making it a fun project for the two of us on her birthday, and she was ecstatic when she opened it. However, from the onset we struggled to fit the pieces together without damaging the fragile material, even while using microvices and a jewelers kit. Twenty minutes and a pierced finger for me later, she had lost interest and migrated over to her other toys, leaving me alone and having accomplished only the initial four fittings. After enlisting the help of another adult to steady the grips and investing another thirty minutes of pretty intense concentration, we emerged with what we thought was a tolerable-looking result, though many of the tabs did not align properly. Only about half of these tabs remained fully afixed to the end of construction; the remainder came loose to some degree, and three ultimately broke under what I would regard as pretty mild stress. My counterpart and I stared at the result for some time afterward and were wholly unimpressed with our work. I then rush ordered a slightly larger, molded Eiffel Tower, which we swapped for this one on her shelf, and she seems pleased, if a little puzzled and deceived. The good model remains there, the original one is in the trash, my middle finger is still bandaged, and I have learned my lesson to first read all the 1- and 2- star reviews before purchasing any product - since, in retrospect, these same warnings were there all along.
