This is a very nice version of the Spanish song. Almost the same as the version I created. Some versions are not very kid friendly (i.e. not so nice things happen to the puppies). The English translation is lovely also. I've never seen an English translation of this song. Illustrations are precious, and there's even an educational part of 10 different kinds of dogs in the illustrations. Great Book!
Love this book! I was so happy to see it at the bookstore and then found it much cheaper here. My twin babies love it too. The pictures are so pretty and they love counting the doggies. It was one of my favorite songs (in Spanish) when I was little. A must if you are Cuban!
Wonderful illustrations and a wonderful version of this traditional Spanish song that I remember singing when I was growing up. The puppies are lovely. It keeps the kids engaged and can't wait to identify their favorite one.

Teach your little ones to count in Spanish and English. Count from ten to one with a sing along song and rhyming words. A little girl has ten little puppies each one finds a new home. One little pup performs for the king, another gets the flu and must stay with the vet. Only one will stay with the little girl.
The back of the book has a song for the kids to sing in Spanish and English. Colorful illustrations also show what kinds of puppies are in this fun rhyming story that incorporates lots of repetition for easy learning. Young readers will learn what each breed of dog is in Spanish and English too.
Parents, teachers and homeschoolers will love teaching Spanish to kids and will learn a lot themselves. Beautifully illustrated pictures are soft and warm. Kids will enjoy turning each page to see what these happy puppies are up to.
