I read this novella both before and after the first book in the series: "Lena's Time". It is a bit shorter than the first and perhaps is lacking the detail needed as a stand-alone story. However, I would say it makes a great second chapter to "Lena's Time" adding another layer of depth to the story. Like the first, it has enough "technical data" to sound smart, but not so much that one might need a dictionary in science fiction. Plenty of romance potential to continue this mini-series! Give us more, please! (And for the previous grammar issues, they have been cleaned up. The novella reads nice and clear.)
This is a self written book, by a local author and it was free so I thought "what the heck". The book has a good idea, but lacks detail and flow. It jumps from one thing to another without you even knowing what happened. I would suggest the reader add more detail and make it so it all actually flows. Also have someone proof read it. It wouldn't hurt to take it to the local university and have an English professor give you some productive feed-back. Good idea needs work.

This was a super fun read! Short and to the point without all that obnoxious middle stuff. 😉Descriptions were unique, and I'm quite impressed with how much of a full story line was crammed into such a short story. Despite a few editing errors, I totally am intrigued and would love to read a longer version.
