This movie is great; it's a classic adaptation of a classic book. However, Amazon has recently made the final episode in the mini-series available ONLY with a subscription to BritBox...even though I BOUGHT THE WHOLE MINISERIES IN 2019!
I wanted to leave a review to clarify what happened to me as an FYI to others. I was able to achieve a decent resolution to this issue by using Amazon chat and explaining that I wanted access to the content I had paid for. I was first suggested to start the free 7-day trial of BritBox. I indicated that wasn't an acceptable solution and was then offered a refund for a first month of BritBox. Indicated that still wasn't acceptable and suggested that instead I'd purchase the DVD and they could refund me for that so I didn't need to rely on PrimeVideo to stream it. They accepted that and issued my refund after my BluRay (which was cheaper than the DVD when I ordered it) arrived today. The workers who assisted me were competent and helped me arrive at a decent solution, so hopefully anyone else who's lost access to content they purchased can likewise get a decent outcome. It'd be better, though, if Amazon could just not remove access in the first place.
