Level-set.... I'm an Electronics Failure Analysis Engineer.
It fails after a short time in service with a new blower. It's GMs issue. The blowers in the 2500 trucks sink a lot of current. Contact surface area is too small, and/or R goes up over time due to plating issues. There are many ways GM could have prevented this issue. When you go cheap... you burn. The original OEM unit also melted the connector housing, and the contact came out.
