Not bad for instant porridge
Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2019
Not bad for instant rice porridge (Jok). I cooked this on the stove. The directions say 250 ml or 1 cup per packet. It’s a little salty. You can add a little more water. I’m attaching pictures of directions. (The directions are written in Thai). The packet says it is the Knorr brand. They’ve changed their recipe through the years. Originally, it was close to Jok that I would buy in Thailand. Then they changed recipe making gummy textured rice. This new recipe used by Korr is extremely puréed rice. I hope the company changes back to the originally recipe. Otherwise, you can add an egg, minced pork, any ingredient traditionally used by your family.
