It is funny to listen to people who have not fasted that state, "That is so dangerous, I could not do it, etc." Do the research on how fasting has historically been used to keep healthy, slim, etc., and used in European hospitals all the time. Of course if you are suffering with a bad heart or extreme condition, high toxic, then it probably should be supervised.
This book is just the fasting guidelines chapter out of Dr. Paavo Airola's book called, "How to get well." I bought that book 30 years ago and have successfully fasted 3 to 21 days and haven't been sick with any flu/virus since I bought it. He is an advocate for juice fasting which makes fasting easier for people who work as you are getting all your vitamins, minerals, fiber, etc. without having to digest solids - giving your body a break from digestion to work on eliminating toxins, disease, fat, etc.
The first 3 days are tough (if you've never fasted), but the 4th day - you will feel this incredible lightness, enlightenment (clear thinking) and energy without hunger pains. It will make you want to kick yourself for not trying it sooner.
