Core Performance Golf
Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2012
I am an eight handicap in search of a lower golf score. I think this book may be a big help. I liked this book so much that this is the second one I have purchased. I keep one with me to read and I leave one in my exercise area as a reference guide for the exercise routines. I have been exercising for a decade, building my own routines from books and magazines. I have never had the success or felt as good as I do following Mark's plan. The book has a section with pictures and details on each exercise and how to do it properly. The routines are represented in picture format and are easy to follow. I hate to stretch but stretching is build right in to the exercises. You work the core on every exercise but there is not one crunch in the routine. And the rehab work after the workout has left me injury free and feeling much better the next day. At age 62 injury prevention is very important. I have even started taking a protein supplement after counting my daily intake of protein and discovering I was short of the recommended quanity. I bought this to improve my golf game (living in the north I have yet to experience the results on the course) but I am so impressed with the program and how great I feel that any improvement in my game will be secondary. However I do think I am going to have a huge advantage on the course this year.
