Fantastic art and writing, more consistently good than Vol.2

I felt that Vol. 2 was fairly uneven in story quality. This Vol. was rock solid though, including the introduction of 2 characters, Nuke Face and John Constantine (yes, that John Constantine.) The Constantine stories are especially excellent, making up more than half of this volume. They are dark, with underlying theme of pain and its reverberations through time that is fascinating and very ahead of its time in how it relates to and deals with the issues of sexism and racism. Highly recommended for comic and horror fans.
