It took me an hour to install this cover and when I finished I noticed two small holes that one of the buckles were through the cover while rolled up in the box. Lund told me Amazon had to address this issue and now I have to remove the cover from my truck and ship it back. Waste of time and money.
I have had this tonneau cover now for about a month on my 2017 Silverado. It looks great and was fairly easy to install by myself. It looks great, and when i drove it in pouring rain it kept the bed completely dry. It is a canvas material, so it is dull, not shiny like most of the other brands out there that are for sale. It is easy to adjust the tension, so if you feel that when you drive it moves to much in the wind, this is easily fixable. Overall great product and glad that i purchased it. Just make sure to watch the price on Amazon, I noticed today that it is selling for over a $100 more than i paid for it.
Only issue that i had is with the shipping of the product to my residence. Both ends of the box were open, and there was a hole in the side of the box. All of the parts were there, but one of the tie-downs was broken. I contacted Lund and they sent out the replacement part within a week. Lund is a great company and I will continue to buy there products in the future.
Here is what I like: - Easy installation - Solid latch mechanism with adjustable tension sprig - Good fit - Canvas material appears of good quality
Here is what I am worried about - Only time will tell how well the canvas material holds up - I found an incomplete seam right after install. See picture. Hope that won't cause issues later. I will send a message to seller and see if they can replace canvas without having me to uninstall the whole thing and wait for the replacement to arrive. I will update here.
I will update this review once I find out how the seller is handling the seam issue and when I know more of how it holds up over time.
I've only had the cover for a month or so and so far, my only complaint is that I think it leaks too much water under the flap above the tail gate. I had another brand cover on my other truck and it didn't leak near as much water as this one, but was twice the money.
Looks nice everything fit as it should. Took around an hour taking my time installing. Upon opening the box and taking off the bulkhead seal, noticed that both belt buckles were snapped off. Should be easy to fix with a new buckle however.
I prefer the roll up cover so I can use the full bed length when needed, vs the TriFold covers that take up 1/3 of the bed. This product was easy to install, shipped quickly and looks sharp. I don't particularly like the pull down release on both sides, I feel this could have been improved. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
Very easy to install (youtube instructions better than printed) Went on in less than 20 minutes. Also easy to remove for temporary use. Snug fit, and had no leaks even through tropical storm rains. Gave it four stars because the support rails for the cross bars keep a 5' bed tool box from opening. I had to strap the box down sideways in the bed. Also, while a locking tailgate improves security, the Velcro could be pulled up by the determined thief.
My husband got this for his new truck. it installed ok but took a while. Some part was missing, but he called Lund and they shipped one out right away. He like this a lot better than the one he had for his other truck; it opens and closes good and is pretty easy to get off and on.
Easy enough to install, but you can't get the back end tight to the tailgate enough to avoid significant water intrusion. It also doesn't ride quite flat, having a slight rise toward the rear of the bed. However, I really like the matte canvas appearance, and it does a good enough job as long as you don't leave something that can't get wet near the tailgate during a storm.
