I was so surprised and disapointed when I received this book in the mail. I rarely find a book I don't bond with, but this is a sad excuse for a guide. The initial information is no more than what one could find on the internet if Googling the Mediterranean Diet. Enjoy the beautiful cover picture as it is the only picture or graphic in the book. The book looks exactly as if it were typed up and then sent to a vanity printshop. There are 22 pages of repetitive information followed by seven pages of daily diet plans. I've posted one with this; they are just a waste of space. The recipes are ridiculously simple, as in how to make a fruit salad and preparing your morning oatmeal in just the way most anyone would do so. AND, this is the big and. This is billed as a diet book with absolutely no values for any of the recipes (i.e. calories, carbs, fat, etc.). Not much thicker than a comic book, I would urge your to save your money on this one.
